What we do

SwiftTools is a collection of over a hundred handy web utilities, organized into fifteen categories: PDF tools, image tools, text tools, calculators, converters, developer tools, QR generators, security tools, SEO helpers, and more. Each tool does one job well, merge a PDF, compress an image, count words, generate a QR code, format JSON, calculate a mortgage payment, and does it right in your browser.

The idea is simple: the small, annoying tasks of digital life shouldn't require creating an account, downloading desktop software, or handing your files to a stranger's server. Open a tool, get your result, and move on with your day. Everything is free, with no usage limits and no feature gates.

How the tools actually work

All tools on SwiftTools run entirely on your own device, using JavaScript in your browser. When you merge two PDFs, the merging happens on your laptop or phone. The files are never uploaded to our servers. The same goes for image compression, text conversion, QR code generation, and calculations.

This architecture has two consequences we care about:

  • Privacy: your documents, images, and text never leave your device, so there is nothing to leak, sell, or subpoena. We keep no accounts and track nothing about what you do inside a tool.
  • Speed: with no round-trips to a server, tools respond instantly. Even on slow connections.

A small number of tools need a third-party library to function (for example, a PDF manipulation library loaded from a CDN). Those libraries still execute locally in your browser; they don't send your data anywhere either.

What we believe

Everyday utilities should be free, fast, and respectful of the people who use them. That means:

  • No fake tools. If a tool is listed as working, it works. Anything still in development is honestly labeled "Coming Soon". No dead buttons, ever.
  • No dark patterns. No countdown timers, no "premium unlock" popups, no features held hostage behind a signup wall.
  • Your data stays yours. Optional analytics and advertising cookies are strictly opt-in through our consent banner. Reject them and every tool still works exactly the same.
  • Accessible to everyone. The tools work on phones, tablets, and desktops, with keyboard navigation and screen-reader labels, because utility software shouldn't assume what device you own.

How we stay free

SwiftTools is supported by advertising. You may see ad placements on our pages. Clearly labeled, and only ever loaded after you accept advertising cookies in our consent banner. We do not sell data, we do not charge for tools, and we do not run sponsored tools disguised as neutral utilities.

Who runs SwiftTools

SwiftTools is operated by Obaid Rahman. We maintain the site continuously: fixing bugs, adding requested tools, and keeping every page working as browsers evolve.
