About Favicon Generator
The tiny icon in the browser tab is one of the most-seen pieces of your brand, and getting it right means more than one file. Modern sites need a whole set: small PNGs for tabs, a 180px icon for Apple devices, 192 and 512px for Android and progressive web apps, plus the classic favicon.ico that browsers still request. This generator builds the entire set from a single square image, all in your browser.
Upload a square source at least 512x512 px for crisp results; non-square images are center-cropped, so keep the important detail in the middle. Each size is rendered locally and ready to download, including a genuine 32x32 favicon.ico hand-built on your device, no server round-trip, no watermark, no account.
Design for 16 pixels, not 512: fine detail and thin text turn to mush at tab size, so simplify the artwork and test the smallest PNG before shipping. And when you update a favicon, remember browsers cache them aggressively, a hard refresh or cache-bust is usually needed to see the new icon.

Tips for best results
- Start big: upload at least 512x512 px so every downscaled size stays sharp.
