Text Diff Checker
Compare two texts and spot every change.
Wondering what changed between two drafts, or whether a copied paragraph matches the original? Paste the old text on the left and the new text on the right. This tool compares them line by line, highlights added lines in green and removed lines in red, and tells you how many lines changed. Everything runs in your browser, so drafts and documents stay private.

About Text Diff Checker
Two versions of the same document can look identical until you read them closely. A diff tool removes the guesswork by aligning both versions and showing exactly which lines were added, removed, or left alone. This checker works on any plain text: essays, contracts, code, configs, or lists.
The comparison is line based. Unchanged lines stay plain, added lines get a green highlight, and removed lines get a red one. A summary counts added, removed, and unchanged lines so you can see the size of the change at a glance.
It compares drafts, contracts, and private documents. For very large files, keep each side under about 1,500 lines for instant results.

Tips for best results

- Use the summary counts to judge how big a revision really is.
- For word-level detail inside a changed line, read that line closely.
